1.Description
Expanded Coverage Sprinklers are sprinklers that have a larger specific area of protection than conventional sprinklers, referred to as EC sprinklers (short for extended coverage). It is basically the same structure as the sprinkler, and the difference is mainly due to the change of the shape of the splash pan.
EC nozzles are generally used in light and medium-risk locations with a maximum coverage of approximately 5m x 7m. The protection area of the nozzle is 37.2m2, while the protection area of the standard nozzle is only 20m2. It can be seen that the correct selection and use of EC nozzles can effectively reduce the system cost.
